About
Octaviano James Beltran III joined the EAI family in August 2021 and is currently serving as a Customer Experience Manager. James brings 15 years of public education experience, including roles as a HS science teacher, instructional coach, dean of instruction, and district C&I administrator. As one who enjoys the "puzzles" that are master scheduling, test coordination, and CCMR in Texas, James has 10+ years working to serve students' and teachers' best interests through optimization of district and campus initiatives.
Why Education Advanced?
"From my first days as an educator, I saw where there was a need to better support the students I served in the classroom. This passion to help grew stronger when I was blessed to support multiple campuses at the district level. Working with EAI now gives me the opportunity to better the lives of so many more people!"
Outside of Work
James is husband to an amazing wife and middle school instructional coach, father to two adult daughters - one a nurse practitioner and the other an aspiring social worker - , and the proud "Papa" to two inquisitive and beautiful granddaughters. Having a houseful of strong, intelligent women keeps him on his toes and brings him immeasurable joy. James enjoys building things and is always trying to make things more practical and more beautiful at the same time. He can often be found hanging out with family, enjoying great music, taking evening walks with his wife and admiring the night sky, or serving at his local church.
